Week 13
This week we practice about the Direct Speech and Indirect Speech. I will put some examples.

This week we learned about the Direct Speech and the Indirect Speech. And also we learned how to change the direct speech from Indirect Speech.
The reported speech usually uses say or tell. If we use the verb say/tell, we have to mention the listener.

Week 11
This week we saw some ing/ed adjetives.
We use the -ing form to describe a quality someboy or something has. And we use the -ed form to describe how somebody feels about something.

This week we saw about the If Conditional.
We use the If Condition to talk about things that are always true.

The If Conditional uses the simple present plus the simple present.

Week 9
This week, we saw a little review of the themes we`ve been seeing.
Like: the past tense, past progressive, the use of since and for, prepositions, the passive voice, tag questions, infinitive and gerund and past perfect.
Also we saw Unit 7 named Lifelong learning. In that unit we saw about how to describe a teacher. Words like: patient, boring, knowledgeable, understanding, inspiring, frightening, open-minded.
In grammar we saw about the Habitual Past: Used to and Would.
Used to is to talk about about past habits and states which are no longer true. Would is to talk about past habits only, and verbs that are in action.
Both can be used when talking about a repetitive action in the past.
Example: When I was a kid I used to play at the park/When I was a Kid I would play at the park.
When the verb is static use used to.

Week 7
This week we saw the Present Perfect.and Present Perfect Continous
Present Perfect: Examples
I have gone to Chicago before.
I have been to Limón many times.
Present perfect Continous
I´ve been looking for my glasses everywhere.
I´ve been running since 8:00 a.m.
And also we saw gerunds and infinitives.

can´t stand, enjoy, don´t mind, avoid, dislike, adore

This week we saw Unit 4 Wealth. We talk about differet things.
We made an interview like we were on a real tv show. The person I interview was Barack Obama, like I say on Week 5.
On grammar we saw Tag Questions
To make question tags, use the main verb/ an auxiliary verb. If the question is positive, the question tag is negative/positive. And if the question is negative, the question tag is negative/positive.
Examples:
You are a singer, aren´t you? Yes, I am.
They have arrived, haven´t they? Yes, they have.
You aren´t Costarrican, are you? No, I´m not.
Also we saw about the factual conditional with if/when/unless/
Examples:
Unless you buy this (face cream) you will look old.
If I buy a lot know, I won´t have to come back later.
And the simple present form of the verb and will plus verb
Examples:
I will buy a new car as soon as I can afford it.
If you won´t pay the bill on time, you pay a late fee.
If they offer me the job, I will take it.
And also we talk about the movies or books we liked most. I choose the movie God´s Not Dead. It is a good movie.
Week 5
This week, on Monday we talk about a city that the teacher assign to us. I talk about the city of Vancouver, Canada.
Then we have to play a role of an actress, an actor, a politician. My partner was Barack Obama and I have to make questions like we were in an interview. It was fun, and also I learn things about I didn´t knew of the president.

Week 4
This week the topic was Home Sweet Home.
We saw about the diffrent types of houses, what does it have and the names. Some of the examples we saw are:
Also that many families like to do house swaps. In the class we saw a video of a program in The U.S.A. of a women that came to Costa Rica. She lives in Playa Tamarindo, Guanacaste. It was very interesting.
In the grammar class we saw the words will going and going to
Will is for the moment and going to is for plan.
- Ex:What woul you like to drink? I will (I/have) some water, please.
- Ex:Why are you moving all those books? I´m going to (I/change) offices tomorrow.
And also we saw comparative and superlative words like:

Week 3
In this week the topic was about the media.
Did you know that the most watch TV Show is: China´s Got Talent?
In the grammar lesson we saw about the active and passive voice.
The active voice is use to describe what someone or something does or has done. And the passive voice is use to describe what happens or has happened to someone or something.
For example:
Active sentence: The man kissed the baby.
Passive sentence: The baby was kissed by the man.
Also we saw about the simple past and past continous. For example:
- Someone stole (steal) my wallet while I wasn´t looking (not looking)
- I was driving (drive) home when I saw (see) a black cat on the side of the road.
Week 2
This Monday we didn´t have class because it was a holiday.
We saw about the present and present continous and learn how to use it in a sentence.
Ex1: How is your English?

And on vocabulary we learn how to use this diffrent words:
